, so we can talk. I like to chat with my customers so I get a clear viewpoint about what you are wanting to achieve. After we agree upon a subject/idea, I'll make a sketch to show you. During this process we will work together to get the image placement to your liking. Once you are happy and we have finalized the image format and agreed upon the cost and details. I then will send you a commission contract and an invoice that will cover 50% down payment of the artwork price. The shipping costs will be added into the final payment. I do not start work on the final product until the 1st payment is recieved. Once the 1st payment is squared away, I will send you emailed samples of the painting progression. Please keep in mind that the progression samples will never look as good or as complete as the final, but the final stages it always comes together. Once this is finished, I will send an invoice for the final amount including shipping. The finished piece will be sent upon receipt of the final payment.
If you decide to cancel your commission midway through the painting has begun but not completed. The 1st downpayment will not be refunded. A full refund for the first payment will only be made if for some reason I am unable to complete the commission due to some unfortunate or unseen event.
MEDIUMS
The mediums I offer are: Graphite/pencil, Watercolor and Ink/pen which is mixed media), My specialty and favorite medium to work in is Acrylic paint on masonite panel or canvas sheet/stretched canvas. Acrylics on any other surface will be extra.
PRICING
Commissions pricing varies since it normally works on a case by case basis. I have however provided you a general pricing list for my commissions. This factors in hours, medium and sizes. Commission Estimates
5"x7": $100-$175
8"x10": $175-$275
9"x12": $300-$375
11"x14": $375-$450
12"x16": $400-$475
16"x20": $475-$550
EXTRAS
Please keep in mind that the pricing will vary with each piece. Your piece will be higher in price if you wanted to request more then one character, you want the background to be very involved, etc. I retain all rights to the work that you commission unless we made other prior arrangements. I also reserve the right to refuse any commission or request.
PAYMENT
The following methods of payment are accepted in US funds only: Paypal, All major credits cards are accepted through Propay. Money Order. Please expect shipping and handling price to go up if the piece is 11 x 14 or larger.
COMPLETION TIME
I require 4 weeks to get your painting done. Please note that the painting time starts after we have finalized your idea and a sketch has been approved. If you need your painting more quickly or have a deadline you need to hit, please let me know. Quick commissions are possible. :)
DELIVERY METHODS
Email will be the delivery method for samples. USPS will be the method of shipment for all finished pieces. Shipping options for pieces larger the 11 x 14 will need to be discussed, as the shipping and handling for these sizes cost more.
